Here Are Three Books That Caught My Eye
I’ve already checked out a few and I’m planning to do more. Here are three that look interesting to me. I have not read them yet, but the summaries sounds good.
Restless and ready for a change, Grace Stratton gladly accepts the opportunity to leave her remote parsonage home to serve as a wealthy spinster’s companion in the idyllic country town of Lindenfell. Its warm atmosphere and friendly inhabitants sooth Grace’s lonely heart. But when a mysterious stranger arrives, she soon discovers things aren’t always what they seem…

The unique adventures – medical and nonmedical – and amazing experiences are vividly described in this easy-to-read fictional narrative…
Adventures of A Countryside Doctor
Based on a true story of love and loss, family and faith.
Will John risk prison, torture, death, and his wife’s safety by defying the 17th century Church of England’s rigid laws to practice his own religion?
John adores his wife Hannah, the witty, educated vicar’s daughter. She’s the loving family he never had as a child. But even after she challenges his decision to put God before her, he falls into a world spiraling into hypocrisy, tyranny, and betrayal. When John comes face-to-face with his deep-seated convictions about religious freedom, he’s forced to make a hard choice—renounce his orders with the Church of England to become an outlawed Separatist or conform and save his marriage, his family, and his life…

Amazon.com
Just as a reference, my wife and I like to read ebooks and Kindle Unlimited is an excellent way to do that. The montly cost is around twelve dollars and all books on it are free to subscribers. It’s not cheap, but we read quite a few books, so it’s worth it.
Admitedly, not everyone wants to pay a monthly charge nor does everyone like ebooks. But if you fit the bill, Kindle Unlimited is worth a look. They have a free trial subscription so you can check it out at no cost for one month.
Speaking of free subscrptions, if you haven’t subscribed to this site, just click on this link to my signup page at KurtBrouwer.com. It’s free.
I hope you enjoy reading some of these fine Christian historical books. I know I will.
Yours in Christ, Kurt
